At 7:15 on Monday 10th August, Andrew Dobie began his 350 mile run from Harpenden to Edinburgh. Starting from the Harpenden sign, he headed north with the first stop in Luton.

Fantasy League have donated 15 classic teams for the upcoming season which will be offered as a prize at the forthcoming fundraiser on the 7th August at the Inn on the Green, Harpenden.

This will allow the prize winner and 14 friends to enter teams in to their own private league to battle it out for the accolade of best fantasy manager (at least in their league!).

A big thank you to Signs Direct in Long Eaton, Nottingham for kindly printing some A2 vinyl’s for the camper van. Now everyone will see us coming from a mile off!!!

WH-Smith of Harpenden kindly donated a web-cam for the raffle we are holding at the Inn on the Green on the 7th August.

We are now fortunate enough to have quite a few good prizes for the raffle, although do not hesitate to keep on donating; more prizes = more raffle tickets sold = more money for the charities.

Thanks for all your support so far, we are up to somewhere in the region of £1600, keep it coming!

Redbourn golf club have kindly donated a voucher for a free 4 ball to be used in the raffle at my fundraiser on August 7th at the Inn on the Green.

Having played there myself, I can say it is a very nice and challenging course and with good quality bar and restaurant, so whatever happens on the course you can relax afterwards.

The Welwyn Garden City branch of Body Shop have kindly donated a free facial and scrub. Whilst we were there, we also got some other goodies to make a lovely prize for someone to win at the raffle on the 7th August.

Remember, the fundraiser takes place all evening at the Inn on the Green in Harpenden on Friday 7th August.

Micky at the Inn on the Green has been kind enough to ‘lend’ me his pub on friday the 7th August to hold a fundraiser.

There will be a £1 voluntary entry, a BBQ and a raffle, with all proceeds going towards the charities. Keep checking this website to see what prizes will be on offer at the raffle,  we have a few prizes already.
